What high fat, pre-edible meal/food works best for you?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Ozbruz, Feb 11, 2020.

  1. Like a lot of people, edibles are very inconsistent. I've found that if I am even a little hungry when having an edible, it will barely work. So I need to ensure I'm basically full, like after eating dinner.

I've tried having snacks before edibles, but nothing beats a full meal. I can't always have a full meal though.
Some snacks I've tried 30mins before the edible are:
Spoon fills of peanut butter / coconut oil
    Chocolate
    Nuts
    Oat bars
    Salads with olive oil

None of those things ever make the THC bioavailable for me.

So without eating shit loads of bacon, hash browns and buttered toast every time I wanna have an edible, what works for you?

  2. Somedays the edible is the first thing i eat. Sucks you have to eat an entire meal before an edible. Try mcdonalds first.

  3. fruits, smoothie, one of my favorites is lemonade. my receipt is 1 big lemon or 2 small, 1tsp honey, half tsp cannabis decarb and grind to powder with 13oz water. all the edibles I made is with fruits and always work.
I notice that more I eat more high I get.

  4. That sounds like paradise.
I did actually try it recently, and it worked soooo well. I had 6 nuggets and a large fries, and I got so incredibly high.
Too bad I can't eat that crap regularly lol

  5. Thanks for the recepie. Weird how that works for you but as there is barely if any fat in that.

  6. Gotta be the non trans fats trans fats.

  7. I'm not following.

    Are you being sarcastic? Lol

  8. Yeah, i am.

    Tonight's test:

Two table spoons of peanut butter on some crackers.

This is about 2.5hrs after eating dinner (two chicken wraps).

Let's see if this edible (feco oil) actually works :dance2:

    ----

Edit: Damn, barely had an effect :(

  13. <-- edibles so strong they rip right through any tolerance you think you have.
    Food primer not needed.

Decarb first 240 F for 40 minutes (uncovered)

5 grams decarbed Kief, Hash, Concentrates, Powered buds
    1 tablespoon Coconut oil
    1/2 teaspoon Lecithin
    Combine
    Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
    Freeze
    Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
    Done.

  14. C'mon..

    It's not a tolerance issue.

    My oil is disgustingly strong.

Coconut oil hits twice as fast as all other oils. Usually in 45 minutes or so
Lecithin increases the Bioavailability and amps up the strength.
If your using them both your already at or near the top of the list for getting the most from your base material.

Concentrating your base would be the next step to cranking up the potency.
    :)

  16. Before edible meals don't seem to make any difference to me.
The one I have to watch out for is the holiday dinners. Seems like any extra large meal where I go back for 2nds will trigger an intense stone way past the red line.
Full body sweats, Tunnel vision. Complete loss of balance. Not fun at all.
Pisses the wife off something fierce. But, But I didn't intend on getting this blasted. :)

Tonight's test is probably going to give me diarrhea for 6 weeks.

    2 tbps PB: 15g
    2 cheese slices: 10g
    60g wallnuts: 42g
    Total fat (g): 67g

If this does not make the oil bio-available, next test will have to be a bucket of lard

  18. Definitely feeling it a lot more now. Too bad I had to make myself sick with over-eating fat lol

So now I think this may be my Problem.

When I started 5-10 MG (A Small Portion of a Candy Bar Edible from the Dispensary) would wreck me.

I mean Couchlock for 8 Hours Straight (A Tornado couldn't wake me up). I was dead to the World LOL !!!!

Nowadays I take so much and it doesn't do anything or Very Little at All.

I took 542 MG of Rick Simpson Oil and Barely Felt Anything.

    How can I go from

5-10 MG Wrecked for 8 Hours

    to

542 MG and Feel Barely Anything.

I just Figured it was Tolerance.

    But Now I Wonder?

When I started I wouldn't pay attention to what I ate.

But Over the last few Months I have been taking Edibles on an Empty Stomach thinking that would be better and hit harder.

I won't even drink water before I take Edibles.

You think that is the problem?

Not taking Fat with the Edible?

Or Just High Tolerance from Taking Insane Amounts of Edibles Every Day?

  20. I always read that taking edibles on an empty stomach would help them kick-in faster, but I've also found the opposite to be true. I only take edibles for sleeping and have found that the most intense effects are connected to the fact that I had a very late dinner. But as someone who takes edibles nightly of varying brands and doses, I think tolerance also plays a factor as well.
