what happens if i let mature buds die on the branch?

    i was growing a plant at school, but came home for summer break. had my friend water it for a while but then he had to go back home too. the buds are mature but have just been sitting on the branch for like 2 weeks. Can I just harvest them? will this impact the quality at all?

    im not 100% sure if anything bad will happen to them but i would go ahead and start curing them however you were planning on for now and see how they start smelling and maybe even sample one.

    When you say mature, do you mean they are ready to be harvested? Or do you mean they have been flowering long enough to resemble buds?

    mature enough to be harvested, a little premature but they were in their 9th week of flowering when i left them

    hang the branch, cure the bud, and smoke it! :smoking:
