I just started my outdoor grow and have had some bad luck so far. But I figured I'd ask before hand....what exactly is flushing your crop? You are flashing the nutes out so your bud doesn't Taste like nutes or what? And do I need to worry about it if im just going to be using simple dr.earth nutes in an outdoor grow??
Can't answer for Dr Earth Nutes...but generally flushing is done to clear nutes and build-ups out of the soil because perhaps a person over nuted and the plants need a good colonic! haha! It is also done before harvest...like 2 weeks before and then the plants are only given water and no nutes and this flushes out the nutes the plant has taken in. This is what my understanding of it is. If you go to Mandala Seeds though and read through their FAQ you will find they have vastly differing opinions then many of those given around this forum. You can check that at Mandala Seeds FAQ's The more I research the more conflicting info I find! Good luck and cheers! Jake
