What Do You Want Grasscity To Be?

Hey everyone, I would like to address the elephant in the room that is the idea that Grasscity is on it's decline, and is no longer a great site. We have all seen the threads, some of us agree with them. Now you may look at me and think how can I talk about the old Grasscity, when I wasn't here to see it. That is a fair argument, but this is not about me.
 
I come to you as a concerned citizen to our fair city. How can a plant survive without sunshine or light? People say how the site is not what it used to be, but where is your contribution? We have to feed this site, before it can grow.
 
The site was good before, but it was not perfect. People like to romanticize things after they are gone. They like to forget the flaws. However, right now we are in the present, and we can make this site be whatever we want it to be. If you want it to die, and it's legacy along with it, then it will. If you want it to thrive once again and reinstate its self as the best marijuana forum on the internet, then it will.
People on other forums mock us, they call Grasscity "The weed site for kids", but it is not.
 
Grasscity is the weed site for good people. For positive people, who want to come home and browse the internet with no fear of being verbally attacked, or having their post being belittled. I understand that everyone has their opinions, believe me I have mine. That does not mean we can not respect each others opinions, and have a discussion without arguing. Now if you are reading this post, and disagree whole heartily with what I am saying, then maybe this isn't the site for you. And if I come to find out that you all disagree with what I am saying, then maybe this isn't the site for me.
 
 
But I propose that this be the place where all your concerns,issues, and problems with Grasscity  can be posted, and addressed. Not just by me, but by every member. This thread is not a place to come to complain, but a place to come to solve the issues that we have with the site. Not just about things only mods can do, but things we can all work on together. After all, Grasscity is a community, and we should treat it as such. So I want this thread to be a safe place to speak about what you want out of Grasscity, not what you don't want out of it. I want this thread to be a think tank, so all of us together, can make Grasscity the best site it can be.
 
I hope that everyone who takes the time to post in here, will take the time to read what I had to say first.

There are somethings only mods and such can do, but hopefully if enough of us agree on things they will listen to us. However there is a a lot we can do as members as well. Such as the overall atmosphere of the site. Keep the positivity coming guys

 

Hey guys I don't know who would be interested, but we can start up Grasscity chats on Skype so we can all talk more, and get to know each other better. I know Darcy already does this with people, but I just wanted to put that out there.
 
Also, for people with a smartphone, there is a free app called kik that is an instant messenger that enables group chat that me, Budsmoker, and Crispy just started using and wanted to know if anyone else wanted to join us on it.
