What did you eat today?

    Well GC, what have you eaten today?
    This could be a fun thread, especially if some of you out there love to home cook, or are food nuts, like me!:D Don't be afraid to attach some food porn to your posts :cool:

    Post your healthy meals, junk meals, nights out, and everything in between. The object isn't to ostracize poor diet or glorify perfect eaters, just to glorify food in general!

    I'll go first!

    Breakfast: Oatmeal with honey, apple, yogurt, dried apricot

    Lunch: Skipped :(

    Snack: Guacamole & Chips

    Dinner: Homemade spaghetti and meatballs in meat-sauce.

  4. Not familiar with 'southern style', how are those different from classic shred and fry, or quartered spiced and fried hash browns?

    Breakfast: eggs and muffin
    Lunch: cheese and crackers
    Dinner: salad and baked potato

    i've had the hangover blues today. not been very hungry at all :\
     
  6. Diced potato with some hot sauce, few different types of peppers. Tastes good hot or cold :p

  8. Breakfast: homemade banana bread, Greek yogurt.

    Lunch: frozen pizza :|

    Dinner: sausage and eggs in a wrap, strawberries and bananas.
     
  9. Slept through breakfast this morning...

    Lunch: scrambled eggs with onions, jalapeno, and broccoli; smoothie with banana, frozen strawberries, almond milk and a little bit of honey

    Dinner: leftover honey-mustard chicken with spinach, orange pepper, and almonds
     
  10. I just made my lunch for tomorrow.
    It's what I wanted to have today lol

    In a frying pan I added red+green pepper, asparagus, cucumber, mushrooms, tomato, and slap chopped some broccoli,hemp hearts and added chicken+lemon to the mix :)
    Used a bit of extra virgin olive oil in the pan. no aerosols
    Added tai sweet chili sause

    Its good stuff warm or cold :)

  12. Had a really nicely made turkey sandwhich with pasta alfredo with slices of chicken on top from this nice little place in Pike Place market in Seattle. MMMM!

    I eat an apple when I wake up in the morning. I'll have 2 bags of instant oatmeal cause I can't stand the real stuff haha.

    Some rice cakes for a mid afternoon snack. Today is chicken and rice for lunch, fuckin awesome food and so easy.

    I'll have bag of oatmeal later before I work out. A protein shake and am apple after I workout.

    Dinner tonight is probably gonna be pasta with some turkey burger meat in the sauce.

    That's about what I eat everyday. Sometimes I change it up a little but usually I stick with this
     
  14. I like chicken and rice, how do you like to cook it? There are a million ways it seems. One of my favorites is boiled chicken over rice. It used to gross me out texturally, but I have come to love the flavor. Sadly, moved to an area where good Asian cuisine of any sort is hard to come by.

    Breakfast: skipped :(
    Here was my lunch today: Turkey Meatball sandwhich (leftovers of last night), Yogurt, apple (binge'in on these pink ladies :love:), and a salad. My first meal of the day is always big.

    Dinner is going to be Buttered Ravioli and zucchini.

    I usually cook it up with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil. Then when the chicken is almost done I throw in some veggies and quick fry them up and throw that over rice. I love it, I don't think I could boil it. Sometimes I cook it in the oven too. 375 for 20 min and you can't go wrong

    some quorn burgers for lunch (lol) - some gewd shit tho. general veg/couscous (what a gay name for a food) for tea.

    woke up too late to consider breakfast. threw in some motherfucking satsumas throughout the day. dem shits is balla. also had some chocolate cereal bar thing coz i don't give a FUCK.

    (dunno why im talking like this. i derive some form of sad amusment from it.) i also feel like a really sad bastard for typing all this out. peace and good eatin dawgbags.
