I wondered what your thoughts and routines are on leeching your mediums? I hand water and have always leeched my plants with plain phd water at the end of each week to wash away salts build ups etc but am wondering is this overkill? What do you guys do/think?
If I did that once a week my plants would drowned. And I have them in 5 gal smart pots. Way overkill if you ask me. maybe once, or twice throughout the whole grow. I do full organic so no need to flush for me.
I just run 15l phd water through my 15l pots at the end of every week. Always have and never had any adverse effects but i wanted tp check if everyone else does coz its a ballache every week haha
I do that when I move them into the flower tent, then a proper flush two weeks prior to harvest, but fuck weekly. LOL! Yeah, that sounds like a ball ache.
Cool, ill do them once a month instead now. I always worried about salt build ups, never done any harm but does take up time. Cheers guys
