  1. Hi fellas new grower here & this is my first post & unfortunately I opening with a challenging deficiency which is as follows:
This is my first grow & I've decided this Blueberry (Dutch passion) is going to be my mother plant, I on Day 62 & I have come across my first problem, I have no-idea what the signs indicate but after researching & cross referencing I guessing it could be due to a magnesium deficiency but you guys/girls know better than I do. Take alook at the pics & feel free to give opinions, advice & diagnose the issue hopefully youd be able to give a solution too.

    Here are the specifics:
Medium: Soil (B & Q Specialist compost for seeds & cuttings)
    Growing indoors in cabinet
    Blueberry strain
    62 days old from seed
The cabinet is well vented current temp @ 26C/humidity @ 30%
I have been feeding Ionics Grow nutes @ 1/4 strength although the 1st time I gave her full strength (silly me).
    No bugs at all.

Someone suggested that I do a run off test which I did & the results were:
Just finished, these are the results. Thought Id let you know that the water I used in the soil was left out to sit for a full 24hrs & I PHed it at 6.5: (I not sure how the calculations work so Ill give you all of the information).

    1) PH of tap water: 7.2

    2) PH of tap water after leaving to sit for a full 24hrs: 7.7 (0.2MS & 100PPM).

    3) PH of Run off: 5.6 (1.3MS & 900PPM).

Id like to add that at this point that after the test I transplanted her in a 15 litre pot.

I would very much appreciate it if somebody could diagnose the issue & provide a solution & help explain the run off as I dont understand what it shows.
I can post more pics if need be.

  4. What should I use to solve this dificency?

  5. What should I use to solve this deficiency?

  6. If I were you I'd start by flushing them with water with a Ph around 6.2 to 6.5. Looks like nutrient lock out to me. If that doesn't fix them I don't know what to tell ya.

  7. I used to have a problem with my sativa doing that exact thing, drop the pH and make sure you're using good organic nutes, or properly feeding chems.

  8. A pic, tells countless words.

  9. don't add any nutes till you fix your PH issues man.

if you are adding 7+ PH water and getting a runoff of 5.6 then you have some serious salts building up in there.
also if your tap water is 1000 PPM to start, that's gonna give you all sorts of problems down the road. You may need some sort of Reverse osmosis system imo.

  10. No the PPm of my tap water is 100 not 1000.
So salts are building up in my soil (which is 40% perlite & 60& soil) would would you suggest I do to correct this?
