Hi guys, I'm going to grow for the first time in a little while and I'm just going to start with one plant. I was thinking about buying two 35-watt MH lamps and two 35-watt HPS lamps. The two MH I would use during the veg stage and the two HPS I would use for flowering. Is 70 watts enough for one plant? Also, how much can I expect my power bill to increase from 70 watts and 2 fans?
Where can you get 35 watt HIDs? 70 watts should be fine for one plant. Keep in mind, though, that you probably want to veg out more than one plant in case you get a male, unless you are using femmed seeds. The impact on your power bill will be negligible.
