Hello, This is my first time growing and I'm using a perlite/coco mix. I think I used too much perlite and not enough coco though because when I water/feed, almost everything I put in immediately comes right back out. I've read that "some" runoff is good, but this just seems like too much. I included a picture so you can roughly see what the ratio is; should I add some more coco? If not and I continue using this mostly-perlite-medium, how do I know when to water/feed? I've read about watering and feeling the weight, but perlite is quite light and I used a clay pot, so the difference in weight between a clay pot full of perlite that's just been watered and a clay pot full of perlite that hasn't isn't very much (at least, not to me). Are there other rules of thumb for watering/feeding? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
