warm white lites instead of 6500k

    ok guy,

    Her's the deal, I don't have enough powerful 6500k's and was wondering if it's still ok for me to use th 2700k's for vegging? will it be detremental as in harm them, or can they still use it and be ok????

    I only put them under the lights at night anyway and have them out in the sun most days when it's not overcast.

    2700k's are fine to supplement the 6500k's, and will not hurt anything.

    I like to go 75% 6500k and 25% 2700k during veg, and then switch the ratio in flower. The plants thrive on the mixed spectrum and worked well on my CFL closet grow. Best of luck on your grow.

    yeah well they seem fine so i'm pretty happy.

    Just that little bit of confirmation helped though :):)
