What the fuck? I've been reading a few articles about this and apparently vermiculite may be tainted with asbestos, as it is mined in the same area that asbestos is found... grow ops are the least of your worries, vermiculite is in TON'S of soil mixtures. If this is true, and the levels of asbestos are high enough to damage us, we're long been fucked.
dang, eating that stuff is bad i bet, but growing hmmm probably not AS badd and the artiucile did read that it was stiuff produced before 1990 that was tainted form what i remeber so hopefull yit all gone off the market by now and like a poster said above me it is from on source in the U.S. so go internationl for yer orders of vermiculite, canada maybe.
