If you dont vent you will smell. Itll seep out. And your plants wont like the RH going RIGHT UP. Run it 24/7. Dont water during lights off.
I usually keep my fans running that blow over the plants but my exhaust fan is on a separate timer that runs for 30 minutes after lights off and comes back on a couple minutes before lights on.

24/7. I'd never turn off my extraction fan. It's what pulls lovely CO2 into my tent. Also helps keep smell under control with my Carbon filter. Especially important during Flowering.
Thanks guys. I been growing a while now & i have a intake fan fitted with a rhino carbon filter &the same for my exhaust. When its lights out i have my fans on a timer they come on every hour for 15 mins. Its fine but i just thought if it wasnt necessary i could miss out the very early hours. I love it. Bit more hassle & thinking but certainly worth it. I dabbled with the fans cut down on when they come on. Bad move! All the leaves before lights came on were all covered in droplets of water. I have now got the fans 1/2 hr on 1/2hr off. &possibly just put them 24/7.
