I've been wanting to do an outdoor grow for a while, but living so far up north I wanted to make 100% that I get everything on time, unlike a friend that got severely shafted by a cold snap last year. So would a 24/7 fluorescent grow for the first couple weeks and than a transplant outside speed things along enough to be worth it or will it stress the plants enough for them to turn into hermaphrodites or cause them to prematurely bud?
I don't really know any serious outdoor grower that doesn't start their plant inside. In northern climates. Ya get going on it.
Youd have to harden the plants up some 1st. Break em in to the sun light. Few hours at a time. I read it. Never did it. Annd i watched sumpn bout it on You tube. Hope that helps.
yeah its called indoor/outdoor growin/bud ive never 24/7'd though way too risky, its not meant to be but you never know y'know.
