Do your plants really dry out so fast that you need to water every 2 days? When you water, make sure you water the whole pot thouroghly so that the water comes out of the drainholes in the bottom of the pot. Then wait until at least the top 2 inches of soil is dry before you water them again. You don't want to be giving them just a little water every day or every other day. Also colafarmer is right, you need to raise your pH up to the levels he specified and if you use tap water let it sit at least 24 hours before you use it.
