Vaporizing - Higher temperature = more stench of weed?

  1. Hey guys. Figure you all would have more knowledge on the matter so i wonder if you could answer my question.

As far as vaporizing goes, does a higher temperature translate into more odor?
E.G. If you vape at 400, would it smell more than if you vape at 350?

Would like to release a sedative cannabinoid, which has a much higher combustion point.

  2. i dont think it will smell more just go fater and get less hits

  3. It won't really have a stronger odor.. Just a different one. It will smell more burnt than if you used a lower temp, less sweet and bud smelling. I put my vape on 379, and that seems to do the job for me! :bongin:

  4. some of the strains of cannaboids in your weed will start to break down and combust around 410 as long as you keep it below or a little away from this temp you shouldn't smoke anything but the vapor which means it shouldn't make any kind of smell.

  5. You get thicker vape hits at higher temps but fewer hits - until you reach combustion

It smells more like cooked pocorn at higher temps.....and lower temps make a bowl last a little longer

    :)

  6. I set mine to 386.40796
