Using ice and cold water in my homemade bong.. it still burns?

    I made this homemade bong. turned out perfectly, the bowl is detachable to clear it as well. But even with ice and cold water at the bottom once i clear the chamber it still burns like hell. What could be the problem? Unless i'm missing something which I'm sure i didn't.

    When you put ice in it, try to literally fill it up all the way with ice.
