Hey guys, I happen to have a situation on my hands. I got one "Teen" purp dawg clone. It is around 1.5'. I cut 4 clones from it. I plan on getting one more "Teen" clone. I want to set it up so my plants are like this.. (3x2x6 grow tent) _____3ft________ |Teen| S1 |S1___|2 |Teen|_S1_|S1__|ft S1 would be Scrog. 4 Screen of green plants with 1 square foot each. Then i have three lights. Two ballast 1) 2 55W CFL 2) 350W Metal Halide 3) 250W HPS Could i place both the HPS and Metal Halide over the screen of green and trees? I assume i would have to since they are both low wattage. Is it ok to mix and match the lights though? I dont think 250W HPS for flower and 350W MH alone for veg will do enough.
not only is it ok to mix the light you're going to get the benefits if both light types and your plants will love it
Most people will do that but will usually run the cfl vertical along the side of the box to give extra light to what would normally be popcorn buds.
