So I found a sweet deal on a 2 x 250 watt MH ballast. The issue is its designed for the use with an aquarium... For 80 dollars, seems like a good deal. The only conncern, is does it work the same as regular grow ballasts? Could they plug into light fixtures no prob?
yes it will work exactly the same.... oh and i think you'll need the mogul base sockets for the 250w MH bulbs... im not 100% but i think so
should work the same, I couldn't get a 250w hps from a hydro shop so I got one from an aquarium company.. works great however it doesn't work with certain globes...
