US & Foreign Gov't "Spy" Satellites

Discussion in 'Politics' started by MPower420, May 30, 2009.

  1. I hear on BBC a lot of talk about our satellites, and how they've seen "Military movement" in another country (such as Iran and N Korea). My question is simple.

Are we (The US) the ONLY country that flies satellites over OTHER countries to monitor their movements, or are there other countries that do the same thing to the US?

  2. I don't really know what they would see that would interest them. Most of our military bases can be found on google and we don't really have troop movements

  3. damn, thats a good point. sorry mate, im stoned off my ass :)

mods, feel free to close/delete this thread.

  4. yeah, we're pretty up front about it. They have to keep their armies secret because ours are far superior. Plus, we and our allies pretty much have a monopoly on our orbit.
