I'm getting ready to chop the top 1/4 or 1/3 of my canopy so I can drop the light down to the lower buds. Their in straight distilled water in DWC right now. The lower buds are still airy and haven't started to swell the Calyxes at all yet. When I drop the light should I start feeding them again until the buds finish forming ? Or will they still fatten up some without nutes ?
Honestly dude I think that one is completely up to you. It depends on how necessary you feel a proper flush is. I think if you mixed some nutes at around 1/2 the strength of what you had been using, and top off your system with only distilled water until they're ready you'll probably get a decent result. If you think it'll be at least a week before those lower buds are ready, I'd at least give her a little taste of something nutrious.
