Two seeds one cup?

    Germinating with the cup o' water method.

    Any reason not to germinate multiple seeds in one cup of water?

    I know they have to be in seperate pots once they start growing, I've just got a dozen decent looking bag seeds that I am hoping to get maybe 6 more seedlings from and I don't want to have to deal with 12 separate cups.

    Germinate 50 seeds in the same cup if that's what you'd like to do. Just don't ever grow them in the same pot...or else :D.

    Yep, I toss them in one cup and then once germinated put one in each pot. ;)

    I didn't think there would be any problem with it - other than being careful when fishing them all out one at a time - but I wanted to be sure...

    Your post title made me laugh as it immediately made me think of the infamous YouTube video called "Two Girls One Cup".

    That was definitely NOT on YouTube.

    But yeah I thought OP was doing it on purpose lol.

    HAHAH same here, that's the whole reason i clicked it! (well, and to provide an answer)

    I just germinated 4 seeds in one cup, and 2 seeds in another (needed to keep different strains separate) and i had a 100% germination rate.
