Ok so I been reading post for a while so here's the run down 5 by 5 Tent 315 lec in magnum xxl reflector air cooled 6 in hurricane fan and 6 in phresh filter Temps 75 high 69 low Rah has been low for most of the time at 15 to 20 got a humidifier and got it up to 30 now Medium soil(happy frog with perlite) So what happened was I went to transplant and the soil was too dry so one side of the dirt where roots are crumbled apart as I was putting it into its new home from starter pot.. What I am wondering is when will I start to see signs of the shock this was done about 24 hr ago.
Transplant shock usually occurs within a few minutes to an hour so if your past that it should be fine. I tend to wait until I need to water it everyday to keep it from wilting that way I know the roots have filled the old container and I can invert the plant and it'll slide out of the old cup with no roots disturbed.
