i still want to know if OP has ever traveled with a gun. and if not, would he have carried? maybe a tazer/stun-gun, hunting knife, Bear spray in lieu of guns...

  5. blade yes..
    Never a gun.
    Considered it.
But also have to way options.
Traveling illegal with a loaded firearm is pretty hard to talk your way out of.
    :D

  6. I've heard of these.
    Never been.

You know I've really never had problems with fellow travelers..
Generally a peaceful "urban hippie" type
Its the everyday joe I really am worried about nowadays..

  8. Seems like fun. But honestly, all the "Dirty Kids / Crust Punks" these days annoy the hell out of me.

And I don't think I could live without internet or showers. >.>

Of course there's goin to be some grime expected jumpin on a nasty ass train. Covered in grease and whatevers blown from the cars ahead.
    I'm a normal dude.
    Heavily tattoo'd
But you never guess I'd had lived on the streets when I was.
    Some people are just dirty.
But yea crust punks can be annoying.
    Give's us hobo's a bad name.
    Like hippies did for pot...;)

  18. Best place to do this? Im still kinda young (18) and definitely want to do this in my lifetime im skeptical if it is even still possible due to changing times. Did you ever get found and thrown of or something? I think its pretty harmless to just catch a ride like that it would be a great experience in my opinion. Any knowledge you have I would greatly appreciate it.
