First time grower here, so please be patient with my ignorance Actually I have not even started growing yet as I want to have the right start, and want to ask questions before I begin and waste money. I have done a lot of research on lighting, and for my DIY grow cabinet (3x3x6), small budget, and (1) blue dream plant I am undecided which lighting to go with for veg stage.....Is either one better? can you not buy say buy a 125w clf or the bigger 250w cfl ,both come with either blue spectrum for veggin or red spec for flowing ,,,you can buy a set up with a hood with cord with plug attached ,,instead of buying the smaller cfls ,,,you'll get a better coverage with a hood and longer bigger 1245 w or 250w cfl ,,,,but its up to you really ,,,mac
thats the one ,and you can fit a 250w cfl in to the same hood if you want a bigger light..i only use a 125w cfl for veggin ,,then i use a 250w sodium for flowering .the buds you get from CFLs can be a bit airy but you'll get some bud,,,.mac
