topping a one month old plant

    Is it okay to top a one month old plant? I'm going to veg it for atleast another three weeks anyway.

    should be fine as far as i know. anything above the 3rd set of branches is what i read in one of the sticky threads.

    Yep, should be fine. Growers that I know that top seem to like to top after the 2nd and 5th nodes. :confused_2:

    If the plant looks healthy and has a decent stem and leaves etc I dont think it really matters when you top.. ive been doing outdoor grows for years and topped whenever and it always prevails

    I'll have to 2nd that, If you have a goosey-gander at my outdoor grow, i pretty much topped every 2nd node, and i ended up with around 8-12 large budding cola's on both plants.

    Damn how much do you usually yield homer? off each of those plants?

    Well of each out-door plant i got 1.5 ounces. with a nice total of 3. Reasonably happy but i can do better with my indoor setup i hope.
