If I have top soil that's conducive for growing a regular garden; e.g. tomatoes, squash, corn, etc. Would this top soil be OK to grow the magic herb? Or would potting soil be better? Can/May I buy a potting soil and/or top soil(in bags) that are already conducive for raising veggies? [I'm treating my garden plot with lime, and the soil will be more ready next year(lots of pine trees).] Explanation: I need to use big planter pots this year because I'm expecting a county official to drop in and reevaluate my property; no telling when he might drop in. Needless to say the plants need to be mobile(and not inside the house). thanks
