  16. jadakiss
    nas
    eminem
    easy e
    dr dre

  17. Easy's dead homie.

  18. in no particular order...

    Ice Cube.
    Snoop Dogg.
    Scarface.
    E-40.
Eminem (bcuz like pac hes a flo'er to the beat)

as u can see with the exception of Eminem everyone is from the old school (and even hes been around for a while).

This is because the HIGH MAJORITY of new ppl coming out is all crap. Noone can come up with there own style anymore. Its alol a bunch of cheap remakes of the past. None can come up with a tight flow of the beat with id say the exception of Lil wayne... id put him on the list if it wasnt for Eminem...

BUT!!! .. there will never be another tupac... there will never be another biggie... There will never be another eazy e...

ppl need to stop trying to remake the past and come up with something new that compliments the past.

and to KSR... i feel ya on Jay Z .. all he did was take the lines from the greats and place them into his songs. But, even with that being said, I still give him some props because he did have some originals that were hot tracks aswell as freestyling the majority of his shit... so i belive it is okay to throw in a used hot verse everyonce in a while... but he has over done it.

  19. The reason rappers can't come up with their own shit anymore is because of tupac and biggie and the rest of the gangster rap that got big in the early 90's. It trivialized rap and made it cool to rap about how many crack heads you've shot and bitches you've fucked as opposed to the political and social issues hip hop had tackled up to then. Thats why we get the mindless lyrics of today and the only people doing thier own shit and rapping about what matters get marginalized and stuck in the underground. Exception maby in Kanye West, he managed to blow up but keep his lyrics inteligent. Although personally I don't care for him.

  20. Definitely needs more underground support, what about Slug, Eyedea, MF DOOM, and Aesop Rock. Who all have lyrics with actual meanings instead of rhyming about just bitches and hoes.

and i gotta rep John Brown, loved that damn show

    HOLLA LUYA HOLLA BACK
