I might go get my tongue pierced in the next couple days, is there a time where you can't smoke? I want people with experience nto just guessing, because studies such as Killing bacteria with cannabis - Ars Technica and Unbound MEDLINE | Biologically Active Cannabinoids from High-Potency Cannabis sativa. Journal article show that cannabis has anti-fungal and anti-bacteria properties so it seems worth the risk. But I don't want to encourage swelling for longer then it already will be.
I smoked while my tongue was swollen, ciggerates too, and it was only swollen for about 3-4 days. (cant really remember it was a long time ago) But its different for everyone, my buddys tongue was only swollen for about 2 days and he smoked and got drunk the night he got his.
I was with this chick when she got hers pierced. Couldn't smoke for either a couple days or a week. Maybe even just that day..not sure. I do remember her being told not to smoke though...but she did. Cigarettes
I wouldnt, if u get a little piece of weed in your mouth, then in the hole, how will u explain that to the doctor when they check out the infection? Just wait a few days to smoke. PS - not from my experience but it happened to someone close to me
