These nuggets have been curing for several weeks. It's a cross between NL#5 and an unknown but very potent Sativa I found. I did isolate pollen and selectively pollinated one branch so I have seeds. The next step will be to backcross with the parent genetics and subsequent hybrid generations to lock in the desireable characteristics. This F1 generation produced a fragrant, fruity/skunky scented plant. The high seems to be 50-50 Indica/Sativa. The initial high is very heady and almost psychedelic, followed by a slow ramp up (or down) to a period of relaxation and a very nice body high. That thin 'hair' you see in the close up is a hemp fiber, not cat hair
I'm sure you will Thanks. Yes it's a touch darker than NL. You can tell when you smell it and smoke it that it has NL lineage but it has a stronger hint of spicy skunk to it. The high is definitely a fusion of Indica and Sativa. Incredibly potent; probably ranks in the top 5 I've ever smoked.
Pick a great spot to pollinate, should be fine. I want to breed my own beast of a plant. It will be crazy.
I have a separate setup as far away as possible for males, equipped with a hepafilter/ionizer to eliminate stray pollen.
Nice, ill have to ask you about then when im up and going properly again, was too hot for those seedling's so im gonna wait it out for the indoors.
Yeah well in a perfect world I'd be able to openly share the product of my efforts. It's a bummer. Maybe someday before I die.
Thanks. This hybrid has me tentatively excited. If I can lock it down into stable genetics I'll be very, very happy.
