IM working with six feminized skunk 1 all are females and two weeks into flowering. I have a 400 watt hps. It is getting a little tight in the closet. I want to prune but i am worried about stressing the plant out to much and turning into a hermaprodite. Being female seeds more suceptible to stress and turning into hermaprodite I am just looking for some thoughts. If i were to prune i would probably strip all the fan leaves off each one and maybe trim some side branchs.
I'd do some minimal pruning. Look at those fan leaves as solar panels. Not only do you get more "power" with more leaves, you wouldn't just take a bunch of panels and throw them on your roof in a pile. You gotta make sure you are getting some good light on not only the buds but the fan leaves as well. --Chubbs
