Timer recommendation?

    Hey guys I am a first time grower, looking for a cheap timer. I will be plugging four grow lights into it. Any recommendation for a cheap, and effective timer. THanks in advance. Also an cheap and effective surge protectors THANKS!

    any one will do honestly
     
    i run cheap walmart timers. same for 2 years, multiple ballasts. can run straight from wall, or a quality power strip

    I know this may sound stupid, but can i plug four of my lights into one timer somehow?

    For more powerful ballasts(600w+) you need specialist contactors. What lights are you using?

    Yea, you can use one timer, just hook a surge protector to the timer, then plug your lights in to the surge protector. Four CFL shouldn't hurt anything.
