Thrips or spider mites ?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by eastcoastghost, Jan 25, 2017.

  1. Tiny little speckles / tears in the leafs. Some leafs have that glossy tiny spot on them which makes me feel like it's thrips. Bite marks make me think it's mites. Maybe I have both ? It started with just 3 plants and then the other 3 Just started to show the same problems. Any advice is appreciated. I don't see any bugs or any eggs its weird. I even bought a magnifying glass still don't see anything [IMG][IMG][IMG]

  4. Hey I found this very helpful! I do not have spider mites myself but was wondering if I could use it to prevent it from happening? Will it have any negative effects on my plants even though I do not have a bug problem?
