Honestly? The way i see things going (sites paying for treatment, discrimination, etc.) Itd be the day we someday remember as the first step toward the internet "dying", BUT even further down the road the first step toward building what system will replace it.
I enjoy your optimism Snoop Toad. I feel like the internet is the key to the chains on the people. But you're right, it can't be speed because it can be replaced.
Yeah, just imagine all of the hackers losing their bandwidth. And then imagine the day after at the ISP's head office...Hell, weeks to months after.
Until the hackers wise up enough to start working on new "private internets" for everything but e-pillaging. There are a few systems like that that have been proposed and very minorly put in action but i see those type of projects getting much bigger now
