I recently purchased a wooden piece with a black plastic mouthpiece. It hits pretty well, but sometimes when I hit it I get black stains on my lips, which I'm guessing are either black paint that melted off or (yuck) molten plastic. Should I be concerned? I'm not trying to smoke plastic. Also, is there any way to keep this from happening?
its resin bro. clean your pipe, if your lazy a q tip and water on the mouthpiece will clean it or you can clean your whole pipe and fix the problem for awhile.
