Our dank isn't even that much danker than theirs was. Blades such as old schooltoker can tell you about it!
Not necessarily true! It all depended on who you knew, or if you grew your own... just like now. There was equally dank bud back then, just a bit less of it going around... it wasn't as common. This is because, without the internet, and with much less education and information going around, a lot of people didn't even know what to expect, or what they were looking for in a bag. And fewer people had the resources to learn how to grow properly. Back then, the folks who at least knew enough to treat it as well as you would, any other crop, were ahead of the game. But many growers instead, operated on old wives tales (and that still happens today). We just have more, well-informed 'canna consumers' these days, and more widely available growing information/supplies, and as such, the amount of quality bud has gone up accordingly, along with awareness. But even now, I still see folks posting pics of 'herb', that can rival the worst of the worst from back then.
percentage of thc is higher now than back then..I always see afghans and thai advertised at around 10%
