Thanks, guys. There's a lot more cool shit going on recently as well. And apparently I'm getting better at this. Of course, not perfect. :)

Now here's where it starts to get kind of fun.
Here are some craters. I REALLY WISH some of you had those cheap $3 red/cyan 3D glasses (old-school type): [IMG]
so you could see what I see in 3D. It's just incredible. You would never want to see a regular 2D image ever again. You get spoiled. Anyways...

Craters and the possible backshell (that was used to encapsulate the rover upon entry into the atmosphere) are in this one. REALLY COOL IN 3D.

Damn, man. I haven't posted here in almost 200 sols (Martian days)!

So, we're almost 1/2 way to Mount Sharp. But right now, the rover is at a spot named the "Dingo Gap".

Let me put it this way: The rover needs to go in-between those banks. It needs to clear the Dingo Gap.

One of the best mosaics yet, in my opinion. The terrain is starting to get insane, and I think from here on it's just going to be nuts.

  9. Hes been going through some shit. probably doesnt even care to browse Gc anymore. and i dont blame him.

As he is a very good friend to me, i hope that motherfucker gets better soon. i hope he comes back to us.

    STAY SAFE BROTHA

  10. It's much better, thanks. I stopped making the panoramas and mosaics for a while, but I'm back for a bit because shit is getting interesting.

Good shit, my friend. It's the PDS handbook which is a goldmine of data. The fact that it's in a torrent is perfect. I've actually been looking for a site JUST LIKE THAT with academic torrents. You just made my day. I fucking HATE how a lot of academic articles are behind a paywall.

Hey man, yeah. Life can be tricky.
No offense to GC, but Reddit is my thing these days. Reddit is perfect for me. It has everything I need. If you've tried Reddit before and didn't like it because of the layout, please download Reddit Enhancement Suite: http://redditenhancementsuite.com/download.html
It's a plugin for Firefox, but I'm sure Apple has one.
But I'll be ok, dude. You hang in there, my dude. I'll be back with more shit. There is one awesome mosaic waiting only on 2 images, and an entire panaorama of the area (just thumbnails - the full sized ones didn't come yet). The panorama is going to be sick because we have Mount Sharp (as always), dunes, ridges, and crazy looking weathered basalt.

So, I created the Mars Facebook page, and all of my idols (the ones who I look up to who process the images) are all Admins now and I'm the owner of the page. :) :) :)

So, this Mr. Andrew Bodrov blew me away with this one panorama he did for Sol 3. I asked him to join my page as an admin, and he did. This is his work on that panorama I just told you all about in my last post. I could never do better than this.

In fact, this guy is the dude who motivated me to start processing the images.

2: Click "Show Controls" until those little window boxes are gone.
    3: Have fun!
