The Lying Neo Liberal Joe Biden Thread

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Green Wizard, Dec 13, 2020.

  1. I remember when Clinton won. Liberals said a Republican would never win another election.
Then Bush Jr. won and R's said D's would never win another election.
Then Obama won and D's said the R's would never win another election.
Then Trump won and R's said the D's would never win another election.
Then Biden won and D's are saying the R's will never win another election.

Do you see a pattern forming?

  3. Another lie.
D's are not saying that R's will never win another election.
Maybe you can find a few dem idiots who believe that, but the main dem worry is that repub state legislatures will overturn elections.
It is my hope that the general public will see what repubs are up to, and vote them out in a landslide.
    But that might not happen.

Lying insults without proof dominate this thread.

    I know I can't change anyone's mind here.
At best I can point out lies.
But you all don't even seem to care that you lie.
    That's called immorality.

  5. More lies and insults.
"everyone just lies" is a lie.
"have you even signed a paycheck" is a lying insult.

That rubber bone I chew on is especially tasty.

You must be proud of your lies and insults, 'cause they just keep coming.

    I noticed your deleted posts.
Probably lies that were too absurd to remain posted, but we'll never know.

I await the next brilliant insult.
Or will it be a lie?
    Or both.

  8. Lets start with the whole “Obamacare” deal where you’re making it out to be a bad thing to repeal it.

Obama specifically stated that once Obamacare was implemented that families health insurance would drop by $2,500.00 a year.

Must be other families because mine is significantly more expensive than it was prior to Obamacare.

  9. Brilliant!

  10. hey guess what ,jesus still loves you

  11. From https://www.kff.org/interactive/kff...esponse=Favorable--Unfavorable&aRange=twoYear
52% of all adults have a favorable opinion of obamacare, and 36% disapprove.
For independents the numbers are 54% favorable, 32% unfavorable.
For you republicans, it's 15% favorable, 78% unfavorable.
For dems the numbers are 85% and 9%.

With such strong repub opposition, which also affects independents, obamacare must really be great to have such broad approval.

Part of obamacare is to expand medicaid for poor people at no cost to the states.
Most repub states are refusing to give this health care to their poor.
The states withholding medical care from their poor almost looks like a confederate map.

  12. Dude - I don’t identify with any party. They’re both clowns in their own way.

That link means zero to me. Money talks and Obama was dead wrong from my pocketbook.

You still didn’t answer my question about Obama saying our yearly costs would go down by $2500 but it’s increased significantly.

  13. whats wrong with this 88% math?

    86%?

    93?

Where we live, things usually equal 100%.

  17. Polling for the truth is the best we can do.
Either we accept the flawed knowledge that polling gives, or we can choose to know nothing.
Among the simplest of polls are the one question polls, like "do you like obamacare, yes or no?"
I'd expect this type poll to be very accurate.

It is widely believed (but not proved) that the 2018 Blue-Landslide was due to repub threats to take away obamacare. If true, it's more evidence that obamacare is more popular than repub-skewed polling indicates.

  18. Would you trade all of the the social programs currently being proposed by the Democrats for Medicare for all which is not being proposed?

  19. No.
We probably are 80% of the way toward medicare for all anyway, but there are lots of social inequities that need to be fixed.

The most important aspect of a democracy is voting, and those rights are under attack right now, so voting rights are my most important thing.
Second most important is equitable forced-sharing of wealth (taxes).
The rich have set up the present tax system, and it favors them.

Medicare for all is probably my third most important thing.
It is not being proposed because the rich don't want to spend money on it, and poor sick people are not a concern for most of them.

Wealth is directly related to Economic Activity
Spreading the wealth with an equitable tax system = greater economic activity
