They're a band from Scotland that was big during the 80's and if your into the velvet underground and that type of music you have to listen to their first album psychocandy. Always loved the texture of their music. Listen to Happy Mondays or Joy Division if you dig their music. They're both from the same time period and the same place, so there are definitely similarities.
