So this is what i got from that 7 grams of shake. The shake was really old btw ... my brother found it in his room while he was cleaning, he said it's probably 3+ years old LOL tonight is super moon night or whatever they call it... not sure that's why the sun was so bright in that pic ^ I thought this pic was interesting, it's the second wash. The dish is on the ground/cement. i even did a third wash this time. Am i that high or do i really see an eye^^^
Oh my, I found this thread just in time . Should be making a batch of Iso tommorow, pretty stoked.. it's been a while.. Are the yellow coffee filters, no good? will they fuck up my hash?
I'm not sure about the yellow filters, but you will know if they're good to use if they're un-bleached.

i've only used small buds and normally i shred them up a little bit, but not grinded... kind of just chopped up a bit. if it's grinded already... i would wash it a little faster. i don't shake it, i just swish it around gently.
haha i haven't been able to spread enough rep around to EVER rep you hahaha heres my best runs that i love to post whore everywhere - Run that Started it all Outdoor Kief Oil - two Kush runs from the same bag - 3 Kushes (burmese, Pure kush, Unknown kush) + Romulan x Trainwreck and a Sirsog inspired Extractor that I might fiddle with for Running Buds.
I'd say they won't fuck up your hash but white or really the natural brown filters are best (i've heard)

Lol this thread is taking off quick! That's a sick little setup you have cheech, I wish I had a spot for something like that. But I have a question for you all, when you use buds, do you grind them up or just break them apart a little bit? and dabs are the best
I've only used buds once and I broke them up into smaller nugs, smaller like a little bit smaller than a dime. Most of the time, I've used shake/trim which is pretty equal to a rough grind imo If you do grind it, you can do what i do and dump it in your largest strainer before your wash to get the smaller bits of plant matter out so it doesn't get in your iso while washing.

A little shorter. You really don't wanna go longer than 40 sec. Too much other shit gets in and it'll effect the taste and high
