Obviously in flowering it is known that during the dark it is best for them to be in complete darkness. My question is does darkness come at the point where there is 0 lux? This would mean that a less than sealed container could be kept way from light sources (small cfls at that) but still be kept out in the open. My reasoning is that on a full moon you can get 1 lux and it is a level less than that.
I've grown out doors on the full moon, and indoors in my leaky closet. Just avoid any light that is powerful enough to trigger them.
