I've been wondering, do you get all the health benefits of cannabis if you smoke it or can that only be achieved through vaping/edibles/oils/non smoking ways?

  2. If you consume cannabis in any form. Vape pipe joint edible etc .you will have health benefits.

  3. Alright thanks for your answer. I'm smoking joints and gravity bongs till I get my vaporizer. I just thought for some reason that you did not get many of the health benefits of cannabis if you smoked it over vaping.

  4. Breathing in smoke hurts your lungs- period! However if you must breathe in smoke, cannabis smoke is the one to inhale! Unlike tobacco, cannabis smoke does not totally "knock out" your cilia which clean out your lungs. Also the THC and CBD in cannabis protect your lungs from cancer!

  5. The array of health benefits from this magnificent plant are just astounding. Head spinning, "are you shitting me" astounding! And the possibilities are mind boggling. The international prohibition of Cannabis has precluded almost ALL INVESTIGATION for 70 years. And it's not dead yet by any means.
If you smoke it you burn up 85% of it's goodness. But you'll get high :yay:  Vaporizing let's you take IN 95%. And you'll get high :hello: (I'm sure these are approximates, but you get the idea) And edibles? I'd assume you're in the 95% + range for assimilation, depending on your processing. Not the same kind of high...but you'll get high  :hippie: and it lasts a long time :smoke:
If you're a recreational smoker it really doesn't matter how you ingest your herb since it's only the high, tiniest aspect of this wonder of nature you're after. And that's not a slam. By any means. Toking is good for you. And it's efficient at getting high. Bongs cut down on the damage from heat and particulate. Cannabis is an expectorant so think of it as a natural response to the herb when you cough shit up.
So the short answer, no, you don't get much of the health benefits at all. BUT.... :smoke: you get high and you get happy and you become a better human! Everyone should get high. Be a whole lot better planet!
