  1. Will Not Include McCain

And Ron Paul has been invited :smoking:

  2. i have to say, i did like John McCain until he got into this presidential race.
Was Dr. Paul invited to CPAC last year?

  3. Yes, the four remaining GOP candidates were all invited.

McCain was alright before the panderings of this election, but he was never really a conservative, even by neocon standards.

  4. McCain is a decent guy. Presidential races just bring out the worst in people I think. I liked his speech last night.

  5. Yea, especially if your running as a Republican.

For example, the campaign rhetoric of Democrats don't make you look like an ignorant asshole.

  6. What is the importants of this?

Will this make the republicans more progressive?

Because that is what I see the party needing to go if they have any real chance of winning in 2012.

  7. Nothing really.

It would appear CPAC conservatives are hopefully trying to ditch the Bush/Neocon image now associated with McCain as well.

  8. Would make since why Palin decided to not join.

I am glad Jindal came to CPAC also along with Paul, I think his ideas are more realistic to most people in America than a Ron Paul.
