the fcc wont let me be

  1. so a friend and i were cruising, blazing a bowl when the Game came on. After listening to this song we began discussing how they allow mainly rappers, but some artists to say cocaine, crack, ice, heroin on the radio but they censor almost all words relating to marijuana. hmmmmm interesting...
     
  2. Not always true. Our radio stations are so censored that they can't say anything that has to do with.. well, anything. If it refers to drugs, violence, social anarchy or something of a chaotic nature, it's thrown out the window.

    There's a song that I listen to that has the words 'Drugs' and 'Heroin' in it on the rock station. They're both blocked out, which destroys the entire flow of the song, in my honest opinion.

    To borrow a quote from Twain, "Censorship is like saying a man cannot have a steak because a baby cannot chew it."
