  1. Okay, this has been talked about before, but I think there are some people that arn't informed of this wonderful piece of modern art, so I'm going to point it out again. :)

The Pink Floyd CD (read: Album) "The Dark Side of the Moon" is a musical masterpiece. And done in 1973, before the advent of digital audio technology! They did this all by mixing analog reel-to-reel tapes. Very cool indeed. But someting else that is miraculous about this work is it's suprizing syncronization to the movie "The Wizard of Oz."

This movie also has very cutting-edge origins. It was filmed in 1934. It so happens that 1934 was the year that Technicolor was invented, alas, it was the first movie filmed in Technicolor. Also interesting, however, is that Technicolor was invented after they had filmed the whole movie. They couldn't afford to reshoot the whole film in color, however, and the rest is history.

For detailed info on how to do this, see this site: http://members.cox.net/stegokitty/dsotr_pages/dsotr.htm
