So I got this shirt a while ago at Kind Creations. I just thought it was cool, but upon further research it actually has a meaning behind it. I dunno if it's on purpose, or if it's just a crazy coincidence, but the album Dark Side of the Moon matches up perfectly with The Wizard of Oz. Found it on Youtube, it's pretty cool. And a lot of fun to watch when you're really high. I've always wanted to trip shrooms or cid and watch Wizard of Oz to Dark Side of The Moon. Nice find. Cool shirt too.
i never could figure out where the movie is supposed to match up with the album. it always justseemed like it was just a movie on mute with music playing, no matching. maybe my imagination isnt over-active enough
I've watched it a couple of time and I must say it's worth doing. You really do have to be high to get the full effect. I'm sure that won't be much of a problem here. I know they have a nice full screen version over at veoh.com as well. If you go to veoh.com grab 'go ask alice' too, it's a pretty good flick. Edit: I should also add that it's best when viewed with the lights out, on a big screen, and a nice surround sound system.
When me and my friends tried it, we started the cd on the third lion's roar, you know, that lion thing at beginning of some movies. It was definatly worth it.
I always thought, like, what they were saying onscreen was supposed to match up perfectly with the song lyrics, but I think it's more or less like a music-video. If you look at it in that respect, than it matches pretty good.
this made my day by watching it stoned . i think im going to go to my old file cabnet and dig up my old libary card (hope they will still take it) and shine and dust it off (havent gone in since i was a freshmen in high school like 4 or 5 years ago) and get wizard of oz and alice in wonderland... thanks and +rep
I saw this on a huge projection screen at a music festival. I was trippin my nuts off and I kept thinkin "I swear I hear dark side of the moon" but it took me a while to convince myself I wasnt just trippin. So i followed the sound and then i saw that they were playing it on this huge screan at like 4 in the morning in the middle of the woods. All the diehards were out loungin. It was fun.
