Who do you think "The Best Rapper Alive" is and why. Lil' Wayne is the best IMO despite how cocky he is. His raps are never boring and hes quick with the words and can go on for hours. If not him I'd go with Juelz Santana. posted this in 'General' b/c it'd get more replys. no ones really in 'Music Hall' much.
I will never understand people likeing Lil Wayne, IMO he's pretty horrible and hard to listen to. My favorite alive is probably a tie between Immortal Technique and Tech N9ne.
Biggie Smalls aint alive Im not sure I could say a favorite but I listen to Weezy the most. He doesn't write so he's always coming up with new stuff.
Yea, I agree. Rap isn't just about lyrics, it's about the melody/beats too. And his just suck. edit: For the topic question, I'm gonna go with Nas.
I would have to say lil wayne. does anybody here listen to pastor troy he has some very good songs IMO hes near lil waynes level.

if you think wayne sucks realize when he rights its all freestyle. (90% of the time) but theres different way to catagorize rappers ie lyrics beats they use etc btw listen to waynes first albums back when he was 14 and tell me that isnt talent. he raps better than the majority of rappers out there and hes 10 years younger than them. also i doubt you guys ahve listened to all his albums if not a song of each.
I really like Lil' Wayne. I think his lyrics are pretty complex and witty at times for being that thug haha. I guess I'll just go ahead and say he is the best rapper alive...

Bizzy bone was one of the best back when he was in bone thugs n harmony. I have never seen a rapper who can rap as fast as him and make it flow.

People always show me Lil Wayne songs and are like "dude, after you hear this you can't deny that he's the sickest' It always ends the same, I still don't like him. He sounds like shit to me, horrible flow and just because he makes clever metaphors doesn't mean he's a good rapper. I dunno, just not my cup of tea.
