Temperature measuring in a tent.

  1. I have been trying to figure out what is the true temp that counts for my new grow in a tent.
As a disclaimer this room is the one that's hardest to keep close to the house setting. Winter a bit to cool or summer a bit to warm. Every house has them and its what I have to deal with.
I have two temp digital wireless sensors in my small tent in the closet. I was getting what I thought inaccurate readings due to placement.
Im using a LED light (Mars Hydro Cree which seems great so far) and with a temp sensor hanging 18ish"s below the light it shows 4-6 degrees above room ambiant which is near the canopy of the new plants. Yet if I sit another sensor (La Cross) on TOP of the housing of the light its showing one degree over the temp of the closet the tent is in.
I am getting the feeling that Im mentally masturbating over a minor issue. The new plants look good Rookie with a new hobby
Need to update since I put the second on in the plant tonight.
I suppose that the plants are the best judge of temps but I wish I wasn't so fixated on trying to keep it cool.
In a few days Im turning on the colored LEDs on this light to hopefully make the veg go even harder 18/6 and the trials I did before the plants were in the tent the temps obviously went up.

  2. 73 degrees is the perfect temp in my opinion, at the canopy. 70-75 is the money range you want
