taproot exposure

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by bamford, Mar 8, 2014.

  1. Hi I'm pretty new to growing. I've recently germinted ten damnesia seed and the have sprouted (just) inside a propagator under a cfl 250. However one of the taproops has completely breached the jiffy and is now nearly an inch exposed. What do I do? Help please?

  2.
just keep roots wet with oxygen rich water and out of the light...when leaves are ready, transplant into growing media

  3. Ok thankyou I'll try this and do my best with it.

Put it in your media and let it start growing. Once you see roots come out of the root cube its ready to go. No point in waiting.

  5. Well I sheilded the taproot best I could then realised almost all ten had really got going and burst clean out of the jiffy's. So although they're still in propagator I have now transplanted all to small pots in coco. I know its early but at least the taproots are all sheilded and have something to grow into. Peace :)
