my friend has a brand new HOT5 system 4 foot with 4 tubes 2 red bulbs and 2 blue. he was vegging under a 4 foot fleuro light and 4 cfl bulbs but when he hooked up the new T5 and put the plants under it with in hours they where drooping he eventually brought one back and is big and strong but the othere died. the question is was the light to strong and shocked it or some thing? the new light puts out 20000 lumens. Was it just to much for the plant all at once? and how can he prevent it from happening with the next set?
Idk about your situation but i just put a 300watt T6 into my grow box but i havent turned it oncause i dont trust it on while i sleep for 8+ hours yet
