I am setting up a grow room and decided to go with T-5 fluorescent grow lights. Foe the vegetative stage I will use the grow spectrum bulb and for flowering I will bloom spectrum. Have any of y'all tried the T-5 fluorescent grow lights.
Hey hows it going man.Ive used T5's before and found that the little extrat lumens you get isnt worth the extra heat generated over standar t8's, which can actually touch your plants.T5 tubes are stronger but you will have to look at cooling fans,and at that point you might as well just go with a hps or Mh in my opinion.Good luck with your grow and don't let anyone tell you that fluro's are useless.I have grown some of my best smoke with fluro's.I actually have 2 sour disel's into the fourth week under only t8's and spirals right now.Im gonna post some pics sone
